The beginning: Learning art started at my mother’s knee with crayons.

Wayne State University in Detroit; San Francisco Institute of Art; Pasadena Art Gallery; offered general painting with oils, water colors and use of collages. But at College of Marin and Sight/Insight I finally learned the secret of “art from the heart”.

Local Art Exhibit opportunities allowed me to graduate from pretty pictures to troubled political dark scenes as well as exuberant Peace illustrations.
