We Are All Refugees
The humanitarian crisis in Syria spreads to a dozen of countries; countries from the Middle East, Africa, The Balkans and the South of Asia.
We are talking about the biggest humanitarian and migration crisis after the Second World War. It is a critical situation that worsens in 2015, due to the big increment of the transit of refugees and people that immigrated their countries of origin for economical problems or other situations of vulnerability towards countries of the European Union. By December 21 of 2015, more than 1 600 000 people had entered Europe, out of which 942 400 had requested political asylum. Unfortunately, another 3406 people had died trying to immigrate.
Indira Urrutia and Mar Hors, who in December of 2015 traveled to Athens, Greece, to document this situation and bring assistance to groups of refugees, will talk about their personal experience and share photographs that show evidence of this humanitarian crisis, which in one way or another affects all of us.
